Companion Care

Companion Care

We help loved ones live a happy and enriched life at home by keeping them engaged, connected, and active in activities that promote overall mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. We understand that they are transitioning into a different phase in their lives. To some, it may even be a very consuming and unpredictable time. That is why we have created a companionship service that takes into consideration the current state and needs of each of our clients.

Research suggests that the opportunity for companionship is incredibly important, particularly for seniors and individuals struggling with chronic illnesses. Companionship has been linked to reducing depression and anxiety in seniors, and also helps relieve families of the stress and guilt that is often associated with not always being available for aging or disabled family members.

At Enotive, we take pride in being helpful and friendly companions to our clients to help them improve their quality of life and maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Whether its just being there to share important life moments, helping them nurture old and new friendships, or simply accompanying them on a walk to the park, we are always there to make sure they never feel alone.

Assessing the background, education, and interests of each client, we successfully match them with a companion that will be able to engage and connect. Our companions are compassionate, charismatic, open minded, and are sensitive to the cultural background and world views of each of our clients. The objective of our companionship service is to ensure that our clients never feel neglected or out of touch with the outside world.

Activities we typically do on a Companionship visit include:

Personal Care

Personal Care

We assist loved ones with the activities of daily living such as bathing, hygiene, meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, etc, so that they can continue to live comfortably and independently at home.

For most seniors and loved ones, aging in place- in the comfort of their homes- where they share fondest memories, is vital to their overall physical, mental and emotional health. The opportunity to remain in a familiar place, stay connected to family, neighbors, friends and enjoy the things that matter most to them can impact their quality of life.

However it  may be difficult for a loved one to remain living at home without some assistance. Enotive relieves this stress for families by providing the support and assistance necessary for loved ones to continue to age gracefully in the comfort of their own homes.

Whether its by assisting with meal preparation, personal hygiene or home safety evaluations to prevent avoidable accidents, our compassionate, experienced caregivers endeavor to give more convenience, more security, and more peace of mind to our clients and their families.

Some of our Personal Care Services Include:

  • Meal Preparation
  • Laundry & Light Housekeeping
  • Assistance with Bathing, Grooming & Oral Hygiene
  • Medication Reminders
  • Ambulation, or help moving in and out of the home
  • Assistance with Feeding
  • Toileting
  • Companionship
  • Personal Home Safety Evaluation
Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

We help alleviate the stress, confusion and anxiety that often come with caring for a loved one who suffers from chronic illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Research suggests that Dementia and Alzheimers can disrupt daily life for both patients and their families. At Enotive, we understand that there is no “one-size-fits all” formula when it comes to Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. That’s why our strategy is to listen, evaluate, and work with families to develop a customized care plan that meet the needs of the patient.

Enotive makes it easier with our unique approach to Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. Our caregivers possess the knowledge, social, and emotional skills necessary to care for patients suffering from the disease and play an essential role in their overall wellbeing. Respite Care

Respite Care

We provide temporary relief to primary caregivers so that they can take a much-needed break from the demands of caring for a sick, aging, or disabled family member.

Caregiving can be a demanding and stressful job, both physically end emotionally, and no one is meant to do it all alone. That is why we offer respite to caregivers to help minimize their vulnerability to mental and physical strain, which has long term effects on both caregiver and patient.

Respite care can help ease the burden of family caregiving and help to relieve stress, restore energy, and promote balance in a caregiver’s  life. It can also prevent caregivers from becoming exhausted, isolated, or even burned out. Respite care can also benefit the person being cared for by providing them with variety, stimulation, and a welcome change of routine.

Enotive provides respite at home, at day-care centers, or at residential or nursing facilities and services can be just a few hours a week or an extended period.

Our Respite Care services are designed for:

  • Family Members/Primary Caregivers
  • Nursing Homes
  • Assisted Living Facilities
  • Residential Facilities
  • Hospice
  • Adult Day Care Centers
  • Senior Centers
  • Rehabilitation Centers
